Call ahead for arrangements.

From Ottawa (approx 75 km)

Take Highway 416/16 south and exit right at Shanley Rd. (Leeds-Greenville County 21) toward Spencerville. Turn left (Southward) at T-junction on County 44. After 7 km, passing the hamlet of Crystal Rock, turn right at intersection of Newman Rd. The chapel is on the first and only driveway left, #2801 Newman Rd.

From Montreal or Toronto

Take Highway 401 along the St. Lawrence River to exit 721 "Ottawa, Bridge to USA". Drive a bit north, past the coverleaf, and immediate right to Leeds-Grenville County 44 (at Angelo's Esso station and Diner). Turn left immediately (north) on County 44; after about 2 km turn left on Newman Rd. The chapel is on the first and only driveway left, #2801 Newman Rd.

From Montreal or Toronto by train

Arrive at Brockville station. Call ahead to be collected (613-925-5226). Prescott Station has one train per day.

By bus

From Ottawa, go to Spencerville or Prescott. From Montreal or Toronto, go to Prescott or Brockville.

About the Monastery

The Missionary Brotherhood of St. Silouan has five monks and three nuns in residence. St. Silouan the Athonite Chapel serves as the Bishop's domestic chapel; as a home focus for those of the Missionary Fraternity of St. Silouan the Athonite; as a place of attachment of various clergy; and as a point of witness to Leeds-Grenville County.
