Visitor facilities are presently limited. Only two visitors can be accomodated at one time while renovations for another guest room are in progress.
The monastery is located 8 miles down a dirt road off of Highway 24, one hour west of Colorado Springs.

Protection of the Holy Virgin Monastery
, founded in 1993, consists at present of one professed nun, Mother Cassiana, and a rasaphore, Sister Evghenia. While utilizing all English, the monastic life follows a Romanian tradition, beautifully blending Slavic and Byzantine influences. The facility consists of a 3000 square foot house on 10.3 acres. A chapel will be erected as soon as funding permits. Daily services are presently held in the area of the residence.
The monastery publishes a newsletter called "THE VEIL", and offers many religious article for sale. The nuns are available to speak at parishes, conferences, and retreats, etc.
